The Most Practical Bookcase EVER!

Ok. I love books.
Second to books are the cases that hold them.
Add that to good design and I'm hooked.
Take a look.

Bookshelves

Doing a Google search for bookshelves turns up some interesting things.

This top one is made of old National Geographic magazines. Way cool!

Cool Book Ad

This is a cool site which is essentially a very good ad for a new book.

Lenten Reading

This is the stack of books I am working on this Lent.
"The Screwtape Letters" is a C.S. Lewis classic.
"The Gargoyle Code" by Dwight Longenecker is a book of Lenten reflections done in a similar style as "The Screwtape Letters", but directed towards Catholics in particular. There's one demonic letter for your reflection per day of Lent. So far this has been an excellent and thought provoking book! I find it hard to not read ahead.
"The Total Consecration" by St. Louis de Montfort was recommended by a dear friend who is also reading it for Lent.
Lastly, "Life of Christ" by Fulton Sheen is an ongoing read being done by a Ladies Catholic book club I am in. Coincidentally we are covering the last stages of Christ's life in the book as we enter Lent, so I'm counting it!

Ashes

Ash Wednesday has come and gone and I have decided to read more this Lent. In that spirit this blog is dedicated all things Bookish. I will check in soon revealing my choices for Lenten reading.
Until then, may God bless you in all His ways for all your days.
