This is the stack of books I am working on this Lent.
"The Screwtape Letters" is a C.S. Lewis classic.
"The Gargoyle Code" by Dwight Longenecker is a book of Lenten reflections done in a similar style as "The Screwtape Letters", but directed towards Catholics in particular. There's one demonic letter for your reflection per day of Lent. So far this has been an excellent and thought provoking book! I find it hard to not read ahead.
"The Total Consecration" by St. Louis de Montfort was recommended by a dear friend who is also reading it for Lent.
Lastly, "Life of Christ" by Fulton Sheen is an ongoing read being done by a Ladies Catholic book club I am in. Coincidentally we are covering the last stages of Christ's life in the book as we enter Lent, so I'm counting it!
